NewSong Band
The NewSong Worship Band provides us with a great beat each week during our 9:00 a.m. Contemporary Service. Prospective band members, singers and especially instrumentalists are welcome. Rehearsals are on Thursdays, from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. in Luther Hall. New members are always welcome! The Gloria Dei Choir is under the direction of Kim Tovani.
Gloria Dei Choir
Each Sunday, September through June, our Gloria Dei Choir blesses us with beautiful music during the 11:00 service. The choir occasionally sings at the 9:00 service as well. Singers experience a wide variety of music styles and genres. All singers, ninth grade through adults are welcome to join. Rehearsals are filled with joy and laughter along with hard work – and the potlucks are legendary! Rehearsals are on Wednesdays, from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. in the balcony. New members are always welcome! The Gloria Dei Choir is under the direction of Dan Colgan.
Handbell Choir
Our Handbell Choir adds to our worship experience by accompanying hymns, leading liturgy and providing service music during preludes, communion and other special events. Generally the handbell choir rehearses and performs only during the school year, and play at the three services based on the best fit for the worship experience. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 5:45-6:45pm in the Fireside Room. The Bell Choir is under the direction of Joyce Hornish.
Children’s Choirs
All children and youth are welcome to sing in Gloria Dei choirs! New singers are welcome throughout the year and do not need to be members of Gloria Dei to sing. There is no registration fee and no required audition. Choirs are free to all and all are welcome. Rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings from 5:00-6:40pm (various times based on age) in the Choir Room. Children’s Choirs are under the direction of Deacon Beth Tobin.

Two’s – Kindergarten 5:40 – 6:05 p.m.
2nd/3rd Grade – 9th Grade 6:05 – 7:00 p.m.
Two’s – PreK/Kindergarten 5:25 – 5:50 p.m.
K/1st – 2nd/3rd Grade 5:00 – 5:40 p.m.
2nd/3rd – 9th Grade 5:50 – 6:40 p.m.
