Sunday School for children who are three by August 31, 2023
Welcome to Sunbeams Sunday School at Gloria Dei! Teacher Karena enjoys working with three year olds however they are — shy, active, loud, or quiet as a mouse. She loves teaching Sunbeams of all kinds 
and has been teaching Sunbeams for almost twenty years at Gloria Dei — since her own kids were 3! It’s one of the highlights of her week! The rest of the week she is the Director of Multimodal Planning and Data at the Washington State Department of Transportation.
Here’s a few pictures of the Sunbeams classroom, set up to learn about creation. We start with a circle time to acknowledge and welcome each child, then an interactive story, a simple craft, and then choose-your-own activity related to the story where we talk about and wonder together about the story of the day.

Sunday School is at 10:00 a.m. Sunbeams meet upstairs in Room 207 for Opening Time and then transfer to the Sunbeams Room, Room 216 for class time. See you on Sunday!! All are welcome!
