We’re so glad you are here! Whether you are a family with children, youth, or an adult young or old, VBS (Virtual Bible School) is for you! There are multiple ways for people of all ages to connect together as a community and grow in faith. Have fun!
VBS hubs around a weekly video link that introduces the Bible lesson, memory verse, and songs. Resources for home include ideas and suggestions for ways to think about and respond to each week’s Bible story, and all of this is accessible whenever it works for your schedule.
We’ll be studying the stories of Jesus healing the blind. There’s a lot for us to unpack. How do we see Jesus? Where do we see Jesus? What is Spiritual blindness? What are we blind to? What does healing mean? How does Jesus restore wholeness? What does it mean to be in community? Is anyone excluded? How do we see the world? How might we see the world differently?
Feel free to share this curriculum with others. For more information please contact Deacon Beth Tobin, Education & Children’s Ministry. ChildrensMinistry@GloriaDeiOlympia.org

We’ve included more verses here for context.
You are the light of the world. Matthew 5:14 (NRSV)
Matthew 5:14-16 from The Message, “Here’s another way to put it: You’re here to be light, bringing out the God-colors in the world. God is not a secret to be kept. We’re going public with this, as public as a city on a hill. If I make you light-bearers, you don’t think I’m going to hide you under a bucket, do you? I’m putting you on a light stand. Now that I’ve put you there on a hilltop, on a light stand—shine! Keep open house; be generous with your lives. By opening up to others, you’ll prompt people to open up with God, this generous Father in heaven.
Supplies were distributed to those who registered in advance. Remaining supplies are available in the church office while supplies last. Please contact Deacon Beth Tobin or the church office at 360-357-3386 to see if there are supplies still available. Supply List PDF
