The Gloria Dei Cookie Brigade is a ministry that provides cookies for the lunches at the Community Kitchen on Fridays. This ministry started with the pandemic in 2020 after the lost of donated desserts to the Community Kitchen by a variety of other sources.
To participate parishioners are asked to either make or buy 2-3 dozen cookies and bring them to the church office by 2:00 pm on Thursday afternoons.
Members are encouraged to contribute as often as you like. The only requirement are that the cookies provided should not be frosted. Donated cookies can contain nuts. In lieu of cookies, breads / brownies / and/or rice krispy bars can be substituted. Deserts can be store bought, or home-made. To participate, just click the “SignUp Genius” link below.
