Sunday, January 21: Lutefisk and Liturgy! A History of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church
Lutefisk and Liturgy is the title of a marvelous history of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church,
originally compiled for an anniversary celebration. Join us on January 21st, at
12:30pm in the Fireside Room for a history of Gloria Dei, conversation about
our current ministries in this place and in the community, and a tour of this amazing
building! (No actual lutefisk will be involved.)
Sunday, January 28: What Does It Mean to Be a Lutheran?
We will consider what it means to be a Lutheran from a historical perspective, including what Lutherans believe about Baptism and Holy Communion. We’ll take a look at some of the ways the Lutheran Church has changed since 1517 and how it is at work in the world today. All are welcome, even current members, for this conversation at 12:30 on Sunday, January 28th, in the Fireside Room!
